217-01-24R25B | 24-Row Bluetooth OnSite FMS+ Kit

SKU: 217-01-24R25B

This is the COMPLETE system kit for a 24 row planter applying a low to moderate rate of product and is ideal for monitoring in-furrow liquid fertilizer.

The OnSite FMS+ 24-Row FlowBoard Kit comes complete with everything you need to monitor the liquid on your planter or strip till. This kit contains the assembled FlowBoards, The monitor kit, OnSite FMS+ modules, flowmeters, wiring harnesses, mounting brackets, and all mounting hardware. If you are adding liquid to a planter for the first time, give us a call for all the tanks, pumps, hoses, drop tubes, and everything else you need for your specific model of planter.

This FlowBoard features 1/4″ flowmeters.
This board is designed for products that need a low to moderate application rate. Most in-furrow applications work better using our standard 1/4″ flowmeters due to their performance at lower flow rates. Many side dressing applications do better with the high-flow 3/8″ flowmeters

· Each Standard 1/4″ flowmeter is usually ideal for in-furrow use with flow rates between 0.08 – 0.5 GPM per row. (3.168 GPA – 19.8 GPA at 5MPH and 30″ spacing)
· 3/8″ high-flow flowmeters are available (kit 217-01-36r38w) and have a flow rate of 0.21 – 2.0 GPM per row. (8.316 GPA – 79.2 GPA at 5MPH and 30″ spacing)

Choose the flowmeter that best fits your desired application rate & speed. Use the formulas below to figure out the right size for you.

Calculating gallons per acre from gallons per minute (and vice versa).
GPA = (GPM x 5,940) / (MPH x W)
GPM = (GPA x MPH x W) / (5,940)

· GPA = Gallons Per Acre
· GPM = Gallons Per Minute
· 5,940 = Constant for this Formula
· MPH = Speed You Will Be Traveling
· W = Nozzle Spacing in Inches

The OnSite Monitor
The big 7″ touchscreen display is the real brains of the OnSite FMS+ system. It takes the flow meter readings compiled by the OnSite Modules and converts the data to an easy-to-understand bar graph that gives you real-time monitoring of how each row is performing. You will see at a glance how each row is performing and see trends (otherwise known as blockages) as they develop.

Set your target application rates in the OnSite software and it will give you a reference line right on the display so you can see exactly how accurately each row is performing. If OnSite detects any row falling out of the acceptable range, it will change the color of the row and give you an alert. (Alerts can also be silenced.)

If you are running section control, just map the sections to your rows using the easy-to-use section wizard in the software. OnSite Smart Sense will automatically detect when sections are shut off and not trigger alerts.

Software Setup is easy. OnSite Smart Sense will automatically connect to all the OnSite Modules on the planter and put them in the right order. Configuration is largely automated. Just make a few quick choices to tell the software how you want to run. Most OnSiteFMS+ systems can be configured and ready to plant in under 15 minutes.

The OnSite Bluetooth Module
The Bluetooth module connects directly to an OnSite Module on the planter and transmits all the flow data for each row back to the cab. The included Module-to-Bluetooth cable connects the OnSite module to the Bluetooth Module.

Bluetooth makes installation simple. On FlowBoard systems the Bluetooth module mounts to the back of any FlowBoard next to the OnSite Module. On Wet Boom systems, you can mount it anywhere on the planter, but the closer to the cab, the better the signal.

This kit also includes the Module Power Cable. It will connect from any 12V power source on the planter to the OnSite FMS Module, powering the whole system on the planter side. In wired systems, the power is run back from the tractor to the planter, but Bluetooth eliminates this cable, so we just have to get power locally from the planter itself.

The OnSite Harness Terminator
The OnSite Terminator tells the system that there are no more modules to connect to. The first OnSite Module connects to the Module Power Cable and the last OnSite Module gets the terminator on the end. Everything in the middle connects with Module-to-Module cables. The whole system is wired in a simple daisy chain configuration, leaving little possibility of hooking anything up wrong.

The terminator comes with a jumper plug already installed. If you would like to use a lift switch, unplug the jumper and plug the lift switch into that port. BENCO has push button lift switch kits available with brackets designed to fit almost any planter on the market.
